
Chondroitin consists of repeating chains of molecules called mucopolysaccharides, classified as a type of glycosaminoglycan. It is a primary part of cartilage.
Chondroitin is rich in sulfur and is a relative of glucosamine. Chondroitin keeps the cartilage flexible and elastic.
